Gilbertson Transport was established in 1984 by Michael Gilbertson.

In 1998 Melinda started working with her father, Michael in running the business.

Michael Gilbertson died from an illness in 2000, leaving Melinda to run the business.

The business continues to grow and expand in both personnel and capability.
